Liverpool Law Society
Founded in 1827 the Liverpool Law Society boasts 2,200 or so members. It is one of the largest law
societies in England and Wales.
Membership is broad and varies from practitioners engaged in high value
commercial work to complex charity work.
The Society prides itself at being at the forefront of debate and has
been able to communicate on behalf of its members their concerns in
a number of areas both public and professional.
The benefits of membership are numerous and include access to one of
the country’s top law libraries.

The Society has 11 staff operating a fully computerised system which
includes a membership database. This enables the Society to communicate
effectively with its members.
Liverpool Law Courses
The Society aims in its continuing
education programme to provide the highest quality training at the
lowest possible cost. The programme has proved extremely popular with
