Law Library Information

Liverpool Law Society's library closed in March 2008.  There are no library services available at the Society's premises.  The links and information on sources of legal material provided below may be of assistance. 


Law Libraries in Liverpool area: 

  • Liverpool John Moore’s University  (www.ljmu.ac.uk/lea/) – Reference access to law reports, statutes and newspapers
  • University of Liverpool Library Access to journals, newspapers and statutes.  Liverpool Law Society members can borrow ten items for two weeks (with the exception of short loan items). The National Archives

  • The National Archives is the UK government's official archive, containing over 1,000 years of history. (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/default.htm) They give detailed guidance to government departments and the public sector on information management and advise others about the care of historical archives.
