Event Description
Over 200 members and guests of Liverpool Law Society enjoyed an evening packed full of fun and entertainment whilst raising money for two good causes: Help for Heroes and the Liverpool Mombasa Access to Justice Project.
Over £11,500 was raised on the night. A large part will go to Help for Heroes to fund new Personnel Recovery Centres to care for seriously injured and long term sick members of the Armed Forces. A portion of money raised will also go to the Society’s Mombasa Access to Justice Project in Kenya. Many thanks to all those present who made it such a successful evening.
Well known compere and auctioneer Jonny Gould, renowned for his good humour and pick-pocketing tongue, led a live auction pack full of interesting experiences and prizes for the lucky winners.1940s themed entertainment was provided by the amazing singer Paul Pashley & his band , the UK's answer to Michael Buble! Further highlights were provided by the silhouettist, the 1940s usherettes and the mime artists.
