Lawyers' Spring Lunch
Friday, 23rd April 2010
The Society was delighted to welcome Mr Robert Heslett, President of The Law Society of England & Wales on this occasion to address members and guests of Liverpool Law Society.
Representing the constituency of Leeds since 2001 Robert Heslett has served on the Corporate Governance Board, Finance and Resources Board, Indemnity Insurance Committee and Scrutiny Committee. He is currently a partner with Beachcroft LLP.
Richard Paton, President of Liverpool Law Society, said a few words to the 100 lawyers present before handing over to Robert Heslett.
The Lawyers’ Spring Lunch provided an excellent networking opportunity for all in attendance. The roof top tours of the Cunard Building proved very popular. Built in 1917, it forms one of the Three Graces and is steeped in history.
