Judging
Liverpool Law Society would like to extend its thanks to the panel of eminent judges who studied all the nominations submitted by solicitors’ firms, in-house lawyers and barristers. The panel of three judges was chaired by Mr Peter Rhodes, past president of Liverpool Law Society (1998-1999). The judges were HH Judge Globe QC, Recorder of Liverpool; Professor Stephen Mayson, Legal Consultant and Director of the Legal Services Policy Institute at the College of Law and Mr Neil Ashbridge, Deputy Agent, Bank of England, North West (Liverpool).
When considering the entries, the judges studied the information submitted with the entry which included recent cases, outstanding or ground-breaking features, general information on the type of work, what work is brought in to Liverpool and Merseyside in general on a national and international level, and client testimonials.
