 Judging

Liverpool Law Society would like to extend its thanks to the panel of eminent judges who studied all the nominations submitted by solicitors’ firms and barristers. The panel of judges decided upon the shortlist and ultimately the winners. The judging panel, chaired by Mr Peter Rhodes, past president of Liverpool Law Society (1998-1999) included HH Judge de Haas, Designated Family Judge for Merseyside; Mr Mike Waring, Lecture at The College of Law and Mr Steve Maddox who recently retired as Chief Executive of Wirral Borough Council.

When considering the entries, the judges studied the information submitted with the entry which included recent cases, outstanding or ground-breaking features, general information on the type of work, what work is brought in to Liverpool and Merseyside in general on a national and international level, and client testimonials.

See below for a selection of photos of the event.
