Newly Qualified Solicitors' Reception

Liverpool Law Society welcomed over 20 Newly Qualified Solicitors from member firms to celebrate embarking on a career in the Law.

Newly Qualifieds and guests mingled with Past Presidents, committee members and the current President of Liverpool Law Society while enjoying drinks and refreshments.

The President, Steve Cornforth spoke about his 32 'happy years' in the Law. Julie O'Hare, representing the Merseyside Lawyers Junior Division delivered some encouraging words to the attendees. It was then over to the guest presenter His Honour Judge Gore Q.C., Designated Civil Judge for Merseyside, who recited some interesting experiences and imparted wise words of advice to the solicitors before presenting each with a Liverpool Law Society Certificate of Congratulations.

The evening was enjoyed by all and offered those recently qualified the opportunity to speak to solicitors with many years of experience in the profession. 

A newly qualified solicitor from DLA Piper UK was the lucky winner of the free prize draw offered by one of the sponsors of the evening, Wesleyan for Lawyers.
