Notice to all Birkenhead County Court Users
Enhancement of Current IT systems at Birkenhead County Court
Birkenhead County Court would like to make you aware of the upgrade to the courts case administration system for both civil and family work, on the following days:
12th April 2010 civil component of the system
26th April 2010 family component of the system
The upgrade will replace our current ageing software and provide all County Courts and Family Proceedings Courts across England and Wales with a single, modern system with improved usability and flexibility.
There should not be any impact on your business as a result of these changes except that on the Friday prior to the above dates a limited service will only be available as staff will not have access to either the new or the old IT systems in order to enable the migration of data from one to the other. The court will still be operational but we will not be able to complete any transaction that require access to the IT system.
That means on
9th April 2010 civil component of the system, staff will not be able to issue civil process of any kind nor produce orders or notices. Staff will only be able to answer urgent enquiries and deal with urgent work.
And on
23th April 2010 family the same goes for family and divorce matters
I would be extremely grateful if users could make note of this and ensure colleagues are aware of this
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require further information.
Yours Sincerely
P Mulraney
County Court Office Manager
