Colonel J. Graeme Bryson OBE, QCB, TD, JP, DL, LLM, President of Liverpool Law Society 1970 - 1971 was awarded Citizen of Honour of the City of Liverpool on 4th March 2009. This momentous achievement was celebrated with an awards ceremony hosted by the The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Liverpool Councillor Steve Rotheram at Liverpool Town Hall on Friday 15th May 2009.
The Citizen of Honour award was set up in 2008 by The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Liverpool Councillor Steve Rotheram who believes that Liverpool City is full of talented and dedicated people and that there is a need to acknowledge this. Through the citizen of honour roll, the City of Liverpool can now formally recognise those individuals who have made significant, exceptional or unique contribution to enriching the image of the City and/or its citizens.
The Society would like to congratulate Colonel Paddy Bryson on his achievement and believe that it is thoroughly deserved.
