On Friday 12th May 2017, the winners of Liverpool Law Society’s Legal Awards were revealed at a black-tie dinner at the Rum Warehouse. More than 300 members of the legal profession, sponsors and guests attended the black tie dinner and ceremony to celebrate the success of the local legal community.
The President of the Society, John Ballam, congratulated all those who had taken part, saying "the Awards celebrate the excellent legal work being undertaken in the region, from small boutique practices to large law firms whose impact is felt nationally and internationally."

The Society has received many positive comments from those at the Awards on 12 May, from those shortlisted and of course the winners. Mark O’Connor, Managing Partner of O’Connors said:
“Winning the Outstanding Contribution to the Law Award means a lot to our team who have worked hard to support our legal sector clients during these challenging times. We get by with a lot of help from our friends, many of whom were at the awards dinner, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunities that have come our way.”
