Liverpool Law Society is pleased to be hosting a third session of the Law Society’s ‘Advocacy and the Vulnerable Training’ on Monday 28th January 2019 at 1.30pm – 4.30pm.
The Advocacy and the Vulnerable Training was developed in conjunction with the Bar to help solicitor advocates and barristers strike the balance between advancing their client’s case effectively in court whilst ensuring vulnerable witnesses are not subjected to undue stress.
Access to The Law Society’s webpage for further information about the training and to book a place, can be reached here.
Please note the training involves three sequential steps which must be completed in order:
1) An online course (minimum study length, eight hours)
2) Face-to-face training (approximately three hours)
3) A period of reflection on the learning via online exemplar films and consolidation (approximately one hour)
The Law Society suggests you leave three weeks between starting the online training and attending the face-to-face training.
Liverpool Law Society’s Training Season Ticket/Corporate Member Training Offer does not apply for this event.
The same event taking place at Liverpool Law Society on 18 September 2018 is now fully booked.
