Description

We are proud to support the Liverpool City Region homelessness business charter to help end rough sleeping in Liverpool.

This initiative has been created following the impact of the ‘Homelessness & Rough Sleeping – Who Cares?’ conference, and several businesses have united to create the LCR Homelessness Business Charter.

We are calling out to our members to join the quest and sign up to the LCR Homelessness Business Charter. Your business could make an impact on the livelihood of homeless people and rough sleepers by utilising your resources – from sponsorship to equipment, employment skills to pro bono services.
The charter will be officially launched on Wednesday, November 20th and you are invited to attend the event to learn more about the challenge of ending homelessness and rough sleeping in the region.

Speakers:

Rae Brooke, CEO, Community Foundation for Merseyside

Canon Dr Crispin Pailing, Rector of Liverpool

Philip Rooney, Chair, Professional Liverpool

Dr Steve Harding, Merseyside Skylight Director, Crisis

Karl Smith, former rough sleeper

Together, we can make a lasting change in helping people escape the streets, improve their health and well-being and help re-connect them back into their communities.
