We are delighted to announce we have arranged for the LLS golf tournament to take place on Thursday, 6th June 2024 at Caldy Golf Club, Wirral. This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to combine business with leisure while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Caldy. The golf tournament is open to all professional and business sector organisations.
The day is for golfers of all abilities, with teams from each organisation (including your clients and guests), who can spend a day playing golf. Tee off times will be staggered from 12pm onwards, followed by dinner in the Clubhouse with prizes including a Winners Cup, Team Prizes, 1st Prize Overall Golfer, Nearest Pin Prize and Longest Drive.
Joining us at Dinner will be Deputy Vice President of The Law Society, Mr Mark Evans. Mark practised property and private client law for more than 28 years. He was a director at Allington Hughes Solicitors, a cross-border general high street law firm with offices in North Wales and Chester. In 2021, he joined the University of Law as a tutor and now teaches various courses on real estate, private client and professional skills to those entering the profession from the Manchester, Liverpool and Chester campuses. Mark will become vice president in October 2024 and in October 2025, as the organisation celebrates its 200th anniversary, he will become president of the Law Society.
We will have a raffle and charity fundraiser in aid of the President’s chosen charity, the Byrne Avenue Baths, which is a small community charity based in Rock Ferry, Wirral. It is a venue that is used for various community groups and charity events.
The cost will be £600 + vat per fourball for a drink on arrival, 18 holes followed by a 2-course dinner afterwards. The available team slots will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
In order to secure a place for your team, we require the cost to be paid in full in advance. Once this has been paid your place will be confirmed.
