Liverpool Law Society’s Annual Dinner and Legal Awards takes place on 13th November 2025. This black-tie event provides you with a chance to network with colleagues and peers and celebrate being part of a proud and vibrant legal profession. It promises to be a fabulous evening. Mark Evans, President of The Law Society
Mark Evans became the 181st president of the Law Society of England and Wales on 8 October 2025 and the third Welsh president in The Law Society’s 200-year history. With over 28 years’ working in property and private client law and four years as a lecturer, Mark brings extensive experience of the legal profession. Mark says, “I’m honoured to serve as Law Society president as we round out our bicentenary year. I look forward to championing the profession in England and Wales and demonstrating to the next generation that there’s a place for them in the legal sector.” Mark is also the founder of a social running group for the legal community – LegalRunner.
We are delighted to be holding the Legal Awards ceremony during the evening, showcasing the excellent legal work of local firms and individuals completed over the last 12 months.

At the dinner on 13 November, there will be an envelope and card machine collection on the night for the nominated charity Parkinson’s UK. The charity campaigns for better health and care, funds research into groundbreaking new treatments, and runs life-changing support services for those with Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (258197) and in Scotland (SC037554).
Ticket price includes a welcome drinks reception, a three course meal, wine on the table and coffee/tea. There will be music after the conclusion of the awards ceremony. Individual bookings or bookings of tables of 10 can be made using this webpage. A limited number of larger tables of 12 may be available on request.
Tickets are priced at :
Members £1,050 + vat for a table of 10 and £105 + vat for an individual booking
Non-members £1,400 + vat for a table of 10 and £140 + vat for an individual booking
Dress code: black-tie
