The Legal Services Board are hosting an online event to hear about the effects Covid-19 is having on the legal sector in Liverpool, and to discuss the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. We know Covid-19 is having a profound impact on the demand for and provision of legal services, with consumer demand soaring in some areas and falling in others, while organisations that consumers rely on for legal advice are facing new challenges to their ability to continue to provide these services.
We’re inviting practitioners, academics, legal and advice centres based in Liverpool to share their experiences during 2020, and your thoughts for the future recovery for consumers and practitioners. We would like to invite you to join our online discussion on:
Date and time: Monday 19th October, 3.30pm – 5.00pm
Venue: Online event, the link will be sent in advance of the session.
To sign up, please contact Chloe Clynshaw on chloe.clynshaw@legalservicesboard.org.uk
We look forward to meeting you on 19th October. For more information on the changes to the sector, the LSB Covid-19 research tracker monitors the trends in the market as the sector recovers across England and Wales.
Kind regards,
Dr Helen Phillips
Chair, Legal Services Board
