Walk with Cheshire & North Wales Law Society

Details

Date: Saturday 7th September, 2019

Time: 10.15am - 5pm

Venue:
Hilbre Island, West Kirby, The Wirral

Description

Liverpool Law Society and Cheshire & North Wales Law Society invite members to a family social day, as we walk out from the stunning Wirral coast to Hilbre Island (and back!).

Saturday 7th September 10:15 am

Meet at the slip way on South Parade at West Kirby adjacent to the Wirral Sailing Centre CH48 0QG at 10:15 am. The walk will take approximately one hour to get to the island, with approximately 45 minutes on the island and an hour to return, arriving back in West Kirby around 1pm.

What to wear ( advice from friends of Hilbre Island):

Always dress appropriately according to the local weather conditions.

Wear sensible footwear as rocks, barnacles and slippy seaweed can cause injury. There might be broken glass to look out for. Even when the tide is out the beach can be wet and there are rock pools on the islands – don’t wear your best shoes.

If you would like to take part in the walk please email Carol.Draycott@law.ac.uk  with details of how many people are in your party so numbers can be managed and we know who to expect on the day.
