Law Firm Award (50+ employees) Category Definition
The judges will study the evidence from member firms (located either inside or outside the Society’s area, or both) with fifty (50) or more locally based* staff (including non-fee-earning staff) which have made a significant contribution and/or brought reputational benefit to Liverpool, as well as some evidence of attracting more than local work. Member Firms based entirely outside of those geographical areas should count their total number of staff.
The firm will be able to demonstrate a commitment to law as a business. The Firm will be able to demonstrate its commitment to providing an improved or better service to its clients. Training initiatives and accreditations received or being worked towards for example Investors in People, client initiatives that you feel have set the firm apart from the rest and contribution to the community including pro-bono work will be assessed.
*Locally means: the city of Liverpool, the Metropolitan Boroughs of Wirral, Knowsley, Sefton, Widnes, St Helens and Neston in the County of Cheshire.
