The CPJ looks to improve law and lives through community-led research. It is led by the University of Liverpool Law School and hosted jointly at the Universities of Glasgow, London, Sheffield, Swansea, Wrexham and Ulster.
At a time of disillusion and disconnection, we aim to shed light and build understanding. This is research about a law for the public that is created by publicly-aired debate.
Our first research project at the Centre for People’s Justice follows the making of Hillsborough Law (aka the Public Office (Accountability) Bill). Using our research we are creating social media content in real-time to promote public legal education and public engagement with law-making.
Our project has just gone live on Youtube and we need to share the content https://youtu.be/MCoSZzEOWLk?si=raCs06w2pwZpugj3. Please also subscribe to the channel, and a comment is really helpful.
For the project to be a success we need to quickly generate a large online presence so that the social media algorithms widely distribute our content at scale.
To help that happen we’d be grateful if you could follow the channel, leave a comment and share the video on your personal and organisational social media accounts. Please follow us on whatever social media platforms you use (the links below should take you to the accounts).
