A Policy Manager in the SRA’s Regulatory Policy team has contacted Liverpool Law Society to explain she is currently leading on work to support regulated individuals in upholding their professional ethical duties.
Professional ethics sit at the heart of public trust in legal services. While most solicitors strive to act with integrity, modern legal practice can present challenges, including commercial pressures, workplace culture, emerging technologies, and increasingly complex roles.
In June, the SRA will be conducting a listening exercise to better understand the experiences of solicitors and those working in legal services in meeting their ethical duties.
The SRA hopes members of the Liverpool Law Society will take the time to share their views.
Their seven online and in-person focus groups include different perspectives from within the legal services sector.
