Speaker Biographies

Andrew Baker is a partner at leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM. He heads up the firm’s Professional Services group in the North West and sits on the firm’s National Professional Practice steering group. He has advised the legal services sector for over 20 years on a wide range of strategic, funding, regulatory and operational matters and has an unrivalled expertise on a number of key matters affecting their business. Andrew signs off over 30 AR1’s annually and assists with complex issues on many more. He regularly lectures for a number of district societies on SAR matters and is regarded as RSM’s expert in this area nationally.

Rachel Booth is the founder of Mighty Moxie, a specialised marketing collective helping law firms, accountants, and professional service businesses grow their client base. With over a decade of experience in advertising and newspapers plus a CIM qualification, she uniquely combines marketing expertise with legal knowledge gained through her LLB (Hons) from the University of Law and Legal Practice Certificate, where she worked as a Fee Earner across multiple practice areas in the North West. Since 2016, Rachel has focused exclusively on legal sector marketing, founding Mighty Moxie in 2020 to bridge the gap between legal expertise and effective marketing strategy. Her dual perspective allows her to deliver proven strategies that resonate with legal professionals while driving measurable results. Clients praise her as a “Legal Marketing Guru” who is “personable, passionate and creative” with “a great understanding of the legal arena.”

Christine Champion is the co-owner of Mighty Moxie. With a strong foundation in multimedia and first-class honours in Multimedia Computing with Web Media Technology, her career began in web design and e-learning before transitioning into marketing. Her true passion emerged when she entered the legal sector in 2017, joining the Practical Vision Network as a Marketing Executive and quickly advancing to Marketing Manager within six months, where she shaped marketing strategies for multiple brands across the sector. In 2020, following the pandemic, Christine joined Rachel to incorporate Mighty Moxie Marketing, combining their expertise to support law firms and legal suppliers. Always keen to explore the latest innovations, she recently completed advanced AI in marketing certifications, ensuring clients stay ahead in the evolving digital landscape. Her specialisms include strategy planning, digital design, websites, event management, and operational efficiency. Clients praise her as “extremely knowledgeable” and “proactive, innovative, agile” with someone who “doesn’t cut corners” and “delivers to an extremely high standard.”

Alison Holt is a qualified solicitor and a compliance consultant with Legal Eye Ltd, a leading provider of best practice, risk management and compliance services. In her previous incarnation as a practising solicitor, she specialised in employment law providing advice and training to corporate clients and a number of public schools as well as acting for employees. After re-training as a teacher she returned to the law, before focussing on compliance. She now advises firms on all aspects of compliance, including carrying out AML audits, file reviews, risk and compliance gap analyses, review and drafting of PCPs and CQS accreditation amongst others.

Henry Kibirige brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the cyber security space.  As a Senior Consultant at a leading cyber security consultancy practice, Henry led the Audit and Compliance team, and advised a range of clients, across multiple industries, on security best practices, adherence to industry standards and frameworks, and business continuity. He has recently founded his own company, Caladium Cyber, with the sole purpose of providing organisations with personable and affordable consultancy services. Although he has knowledge and experience across many areas, Henry has a particular interest in the legal sector. Before embarking on a career path centred around cyber security, Henry was part of the Civil Legal Advice team at the Legal Aid Agency, where he regularly worked with legal aid Providers to ensure that the best possible service was provided to the public. He then became a qualified assessor to the Law Society’s Lexcel Standard, and delivered audits around the country to firms of all sizes.

Amanda Perrotton is a qualified solicitor of 28 years with a wealth of expertise advising clients in the property sector. She has owned her own High Street Legal Practice and been a former Managing Partner of a four partner law firm. She has knowledge and experience of not only Residential and Commercial Property transactions but also the regulatory and compliance aspects of running a Law Practice.  She is a Trusts and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the premier qualification for private client, trust, tax and wealth advisory matters. She holds the office of Trustee of an ecclesiastical trust to advise on property held within that trust, and is a Business Mentor for the Princes Trust. She is a published author writing for HMRC Tax Investigations Enquiries and Powers professional journal.
