Get in touch with the Legal Advice Centre
Our clinics run from September to May every year.
The Legal Advice Centre is open remotely – we are offering advice by telephone or videocall.
If you need advice we are now accepting referrals by telephone, 07968422574, or email LAC@ljmu.ac.uk.
For general enquiries, or to ask about our public legal information and policy research work, send an email to LAC@ljmu.ac.uk.
As a modern, civic university we are one of the only law schools in the UK where every student has the opportunity to get pro bono work experience from their first year onward, developing their practical skills while at the same time helping improve access to justice in the local community. Our University believes that even the most junior lawyer has a duty to give back to society.
Staffed by students, and supervised by experienced clinic staff and volunteer solicitors from leading Liverpool law firms, the Centre advises on a wide range of legal issues, provides public legal information services and conducts policy and other research. Our digital clinic work connects us with organisations across the UK and around the world who strive to empower communities to understand and enforce their rights.
